住房 is based on availability each semester. 学生 may need to find their own accommodations using resources recommended by the University of Iceland.

学生 will begin their study abroad experience before even leaving home by participating in information sessions and a Pre-Departure 取向 with the 全球 Education Program staff. The orientation allows students to connect with others in the program, reflect on what they want to get out of the program, and learn what others in the group would like to accomplish.

The UNE Iceland program 在雷克雅未克 offers a curriculum that meets the needs of a range of undergraduate majors. 人文学科课程, 业务, and environmental sciences are taught in English, with the option of taking a course to learn Icelandic. 学生 spend approximately 15-18 weeks 在雷克雅未克. Fall semester students arrive in Iceland in late August and return home in mid-December. Spring semester students arrive in Iceland at the beginning of January and return home in mid-May.

学生 are required to have a 2.5 minimum GPA and have junior status at the time of the semester abroad. No Icelandic language experience is necessary, and all majors are welcome. 学生 should bring their own laptops.

学生 keep all UNE scholarships and financial aid, and will be billed the same tuition as for a traditional on-campus semester. 住房 costs will be determined based on options available.
